Terms of Service

Effective November 1, 2026

1. About these terms

These terms set out the rights and responsibilities between EltaCrew ("we") and you when you use the FaceHub app and related services (the "Service").

2. Definitions

  1. A "member" is a person aged 18 or older (19 or older in South Korea) who has agreed to these terms and signed up.
  2. A "video chat" is a one-to-one video call with another member the Service connects you with at random.
  3. "Friends" are members who accepted each other's friend request after a video chat. Friends can send each other messages.

3. Changes to these terms

We post these terms in the app and on this page. We announce changes in the app at least 7 days before they take effect (30 days for changes that are less favorable to you). If you don't agree with the new terms, you can delete your account.

4. Signing up

  1. You must be 18 or older (19 or older in South Korea).
  2. You can sign up with a Google or Facebook account or with email. In South Korea and Vietnam you also verify your phone number by text message.
  3. Depending on your country or region, the law may require an age check (Google Play age signals, a face-based age estimate or an ID document).
  4. You can't change your date of birth or gender after signing up. One person may have only one account.
  5. For legal reasons the Service is not available in some countries.

5. The Service

We provide random one-to-one video chat, gender and country preferences, messages and emoji reactions during a chat, chat history, friends and messages, reporting and blocking, and appeals. We never record or store video or audio. We may change, add or remove features and will announce important changes in advance.

6. Your responsibilities

  1. Enter your real date of birth and gender.
  2. Don't lend, sell or transfer your account.
  3. Follow these terms, our Community Guidelines and applicable law.

7. Prohibited conduct

You must not do any of the following. The Community Guidelines explain each in detail.

  1. Nudity, sexual acts or sexual requests
  2. Use by anyone under the minimum age, or any sexualization or exploitation of minors
  3. Insults, harassment, hate or threats
  4. Spam, advertising, sending people to other services, or asking for money
  5. Showing or encouraging violence, self-harm or dangerous acts
  6. Recording, capturing or sharing someone's video without their consent
  7. Impersonating others, creating multiple accounts, or disrupting the Service

8. Your content

You own the messages and profile content (photo, bio, interests) you post. We use them only as needed to run the Service and handle reports. We may hide or remove content that breaks the law or our guidelines without notice.

9. Reports and restrictions

  1. You can report someone during a chat or on the screen after it ends. When you report during a chat, one still image of the other person's video at that moment is sent with the report as evidence.
  2. After reviewing a report we may issue a warning, a 24-hour suspension, a 7-day suspension, a permanent ban, or an age-check request.
  3. If 3 different members report you within 24 hours, video chat is paused until our team reviews it.
  4. If you're asked to verify your age, the restriction is lifted once you complete the check in the app. If you're found to be under 18, the account is permanently banned.
  5. Permanently banned people may not sign up again with the same device, phone number or login method.

10. Appeals

If you're restricted, you can appeal from the restriction screen in the app. We'll let you know the result in the app.

11. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in Me › Settings › Delete account. If you can't use the app, follow How to delete your account. When you delete your account, your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Paid features

There are currently no paid features. If we add any, we'll add their prices and refund terms here and announce them in advance.

13. Limitation of liability

  1. Members are responsible for their own conversations and anything that follows from them. We are not liable unless we acted intentionally or with gross negligence.
  2. We are not liable when we can't provide the Service because of events beyond our control, such as natural disasters or network outages.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes will be resolved by the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act. This does not take away any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the country where you live.

These terms take effect on November 1, 2026.
