Child Safety Standards
Standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) · Effective November 1, 2026
FaceHub is for adults 18 and older (19 and older in Korea) only. We have zero tolerance for any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation.
1. What we prohibit
- Showing, sending, requesting or sharing child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Sexual conversations with minors, trying to meet them, or grooming
- Any message or video that sexualizes minors or encourages their exploitation
- Minors signing up, or anyone lying about their age to sign up
2. Age limits and age checks
- At sign-up we only accept people who meet the minimum age based on their date of birth.
- Where the law requires it, we check age with Google Play age signals, a face-based age estimate or an ID document.
- When someone is reported as possibly under age, we pause their video chat and ask them to verify their age. If they're found to be a minor, the account is permanently banned.
3. How to report
- In the app: tap the flag button during a chat or "Report" on the screen after it ends, and choose "Looks under 18" or "Nudity or sexual content". Reports made during a chat include one still image from that moment as evidence.
- Email: [email protected]
4. What we do
- Our team reviews the report right away and permanently bans the account. The person can't sign up again with the same device, phone number or login method.
- We report CSAM and exploitation attempts to law enforcement and the relevant authorities as required by law, preserve the necessary data and cooperate with investigations.
5. Compliance with law
We comply with child protection laws, including the Korean Act on the Protection of Children and Youth against Sex Offenses and the laws of the countries where we operate, and we cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
